Family Reunion

For the first time in several years, we were able to get our whole family of 19 individuals together for a family reunion here in Mesa, AZ. We already had 9 of us living here already. Then JT and his wife and three children flew down from Northern Idaho to spend the week. Then PD and his wife and two children flew over from Irvine, CA on Friday and RJ from Idaho on Friday. We were able to have all day Saturday and Sunday together, then some flew out Monday and others on Tuesday. Tom, Rosalie and Matt flew up to Salt Lake on Tuesday and took Matt to the MTC, as he started his mission on November 19th. He is expected to leave the MTC on December 16th. While everyone was here, we got to have a few feasts, a photography session on the Mesa Temple grounds and then got together for a picnic with Donna Sellers and her family. We had a wonderful time the whole week and enjoyed every minute of it. The only problem was .... it just didn't last long enough! We hope we will be able to do this a little more often in the future. Here are a few of the pictures taken during the week off of Matt's camera.

I am so happy that you all got to get together for Matt's "Farewell" (even though we don't call them farewells). I just love your family so much. Matt will do so wonderfully on his mission.

Sorry for the three comments...I kept pushing "Publish" and it didn't work and then all of a sudden my same comment showed up 3 times. Oops.
